Vahtra Third on Stage 5 at Tour of Hainan
Norman Vahtra sprinted to 3rd place on Stage 5 of the Tour of Hainan (UCI 2.Pro), the team's best result at China's top-tier stage race. Alexander Konychev added a 4th place on Stage 3.
Racing against a 2.Pro field featuring WorldTour-calibre sprinters, the team's SCOM-equipped sprint train repeatedly positioned its leaders in the finale, collecting points across the week.
The engineering read. The Hainan block tested the wheelset against the fastest sprint lead-outs in Asian racing — race data from 60 km/h finales feeds directly into SCOM's aero development.
