Two Stage Wins and GC Podium at Trans-Himalaya

CHINA ANTA - MENTECH delivered a dominant performance at the China Xizang Trans-Himalaya (UCI 2.1), winning two stages and placing two riders inside the top five overall. Alexander Konychev won Stage 1 and finished 2nd overall; Willie Smit won Stage 5 and took 4th on GC.

Racing at altitude through the Tibet plateau, the team controlled the race’s decisive mountain days, converting stage success into the highest GC finish by any team in the field.

The engineering read. Two stage wins at altitude — thin air, extreme gradients and long descents. The wheelset’s stiffness-to-weight balance proved race-ready in the most demanding conditions of the season.
